Coordinate with local school districts and community organizations;
Serve on University and School Education committees, actively participate in planning
that involves Teaching Scholars;
Maintain budget for expenditures and
Serve as executor of the Teaching Scholars Board.

The coordinator of Instructional Technology for the School of Education is a full-time faculty member. Administrative responsibilities associated with this position include:
Oversight of instructional technology and classroom technical support;
Training on remote Learning Management Systems;
Oversight of the instructional technology laboratories maintained by the School of Education;
Oversight of the graduate assistant and student workers assigned to the instructional technology laboratories maintained by the School of Education; with the assistance of the Dean and the Educational Technology and Computer, the Committee develops, implements, evaluates, and revises, as needed, the strategic plan for on-going technical support and resources. This includes coordinating efforts to upgrade existing facilities;
Record and maintain appropriate documentation, as prescribed by the institution and accrediting agencies, regarding the maintenance and operation of the School of Education Technology resources for the Unit;
Maintain databases of current School of Education technology resources and inventories;
Secondary/K-12 Coordinator 2016 - Present
Serve as academic advisor to 100 plus students (secondary, K-12, and Teaching Scholars);
Assist with providing clarification for plans of study:
Evaluate course plans for expected graduation dates;
Facilitate student meetings between the School of Education and Arts and Sciences;
Guide students in developing their life/career goals and educational plans for the realization of their goals;
Maximize student credit hours for courses satisfied through transfer;
Build nurturing relationships through communication and information exchanges;
Act as liaison between Arts and Sciences in the implementation of edTPA and
Serve on the Secondary/K-12 Arts and Sciences Committee.
